I have been riding training and teaching for 38 years in a professional capacity.  Taught at Tafe -  Equine course.  Trained with Franz Mairinger (Olympic Coach)  Trained with Mestre Nuno Oliveira.  We breed as well, having a great interest in many different types of breeds.  We have a fifth generation brood mare herd, and have had our own stallions for a number of years.  We train many different types of horses, starting, as well as remedial, and also normal ongoing training.  We are very much a training establishment, with riders coming each day to ride and train their own horses.  Our training methods are academic, adhering strictly to all methods used in the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, or the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, for example.  Our horses are always happy, reflecting our sound training principles.

My daughter and I work together with the riding training and teaching here at Holmewood.  Naiomi also trained with Nuno Oliveira, and has eighteen years continual professional experience.

We train our horses to High School level, having either bred them or have purchased them as weanlings, or as we have at the moment horses which are given to us as unrideable, and become happy trained horses.
