  Position Description

  Claremont Therapeutic  Riding Centre is a charity which is governed by a Board of Management.  It provides riding lessons for able and disabled riders to competition level.  The position which is advertised encompasses but is not limited to assisting the Head Coach with the following duties:

  • Bringing horses in from paddock
  • Feeding horses, helping farrier, looking after horses
  • Cleaning stables and yard
  • Grooming and tacking horses in preparation for lessons
  • Administration and office work
  • Interacting with clients, parents and carers
  • Coaching horse riding lessons.
  • The position will operate on split shifts for example from 8-12 and 2.30-6.30 or as required.

  Selection Criteria

  • Enrolled in or eligible to be enrolled in EA Intro NCAS (Essential)
  • At least five years experience in working with horses (Desirable)
  • Ability to work as part of a team (Essential)
  • Previous coaching experience (Essential)
