  Hi, I'm going to be looking for my next forever horse friend soon. I lost my beautiful Stdbred boy 'Royal Motoring' last month (to old age) and the family is missing him terribly. I have a young daughter and will be looking to teach her to ride over the next few years, so I am hoping to find another gentle, cuddly, healthy, sound, easy-to-handle BOMBPROOF horse with NO vices for just riding around our farm. He/she would need to be safe and excellent with kids, dogs, sheep, vehicles and large farm machinery. I have not been in the saddle for five years. Probably don't want a OTTT, but a horse about 15 -16hh of any colour OK.  A plodder OK but not lazy or naughty! Will likely have a sheep for a friend in paddock. We have a large yard with trees and a shelter ready to go.  Not necessarily looking for a freebie but nothing expensive either. Wanted from middle/end of June onwards.   Hi, 

  I'm looking for a horse to ride and compete on in eventing and everything in between . After retiring my current horse due to old age , I'm really looking to start riding more . Unfortunately I can't afford a second horse so that is why I am looking to ride someone's else and to even free lease it . I wouldnt be able to pay for agistment or vet costs but I am happy to help out in other ways.

  The horse would have to be at least 16 hands . The horse would have to be educated with the basics, have a good mouth ,be quiet and non spooky . I'm hoping there is someone out there , that has a fantastic horse sitting in a paddock that they need worked and loved, but they don't have time to do it themselves. 

  A bit about me . I'm in my second year of university at Curtin, studying a science degree majoring in agriculture . Im 5,11 but not heavy at 57kgs . I would ensure the best care for your horse and the horse would be spoilt rotten . I have my license and my own horse float .

  After losing my best friend back in January, I am wanting to get another Palomino for pleasure and weekly lessons and to ride again with my daughter. Ideally would like a stocky 14.2-15.1 mare or gelding that is fairly quiet, no buck,bite or bolt basically more whoa than go (I am getting too old for that lol)  and must be a good floater as we will be floating quite a few times a week.   I'm looking for a talented show-jumper whom I can ride, train with, compete on, and care for. I've been riding for approx 5-6 years and I'm experienced with horse care and behaviour.

  Ideally, I'd like a horse who is located near the joondalup/wanneroo area to minimize excessive travel distances between my home and my local stable where I normally ride.

  • Excellent temperament and easy to handle;
  • Well put together, nice conformation and attractive;
  • A warmblood mare will need to have the dressage movement to pass on and a stockhorse will need to have that sort after temperament;
  • Ride-ability isn’t necessary but I would like to keep the options open (low key riding, in-hand shows, etc, I don’t like foal factories).

I am only looking to pay up to $2000, this does not reflect the quality of care the horse will receive and I can provide references to back this up.
