Introducing MAGIC MAKER MOUNIR...

A stunning, masculine, black-brown (almost black) straight egyptian stallion who is the spitting image of his awesome sire, 'The Black Magic'. Mounir is getting darker and darker with each passing season and oftentimes we can no longer tell him apart from his black paddock mates.

Mounir is an extremely friendly young man, who is constantly following us around the paddock trying to 'help' with whatever work we are completing. No matter what the weather or time of day, he is always there quietly waiting for a big cuddle - and even rests his beautiful dishy head right on your shoulder!

Sure to be sadly missed when sold, he is a very easy boy to have around and mixes extremely well with foals, mares, geldings and other young colts - all of which make up his constant paddock buddies. His temperament is so good in fact that so far 75% of his outside mares have run with him and his band of SE broodmares this breeding season!

Mounir is certainly an impressive fellow to know and to behold. Always willing to show off his extravagant movement to an admiring crowd and quick to dispel any 'evil' stallion myths with his gentle, kind and amazingly laid-back temperament. Mounir has so far had great success in turning many a stallion-fearing horse lover into stallion-loving converts - winning them over with his enthusiastic displays of affection and charming them with his obviously people-oriented disposition.

Mounir also applies his charm, kind temperament and amazing self-control to all aspects of his breeding duties and he has proven himself to be a patient and incredibly potent sire. Despite being presented with several outside mares that had been very difficult (or even impossible as was the case with one mare) to breed from in the past, Mounir rose to the challenge and not only achieved positive pregnancy tests but also live foals on the ground!

Mounir has so far consistently stamped his progeny with lovely, dishy heads and overall sound arabian type. We are very pleased to note that he also seems to be passing on his unbelievable temperament to his babies.

Mounir has produced purebred arabian, arabian warmblood and straight Egyptian progeny to our own mares as well as outside mares that were entrusted to us. He is also a proven black producer, having sired two beautiful black SE colts for us last season. He is experienced both in hand serving and paddock serving mares and does not rush or bully his ladies (or his handler!).

Mounir would also be an excellent acquisition for someone who has not had too much experience with stallions as we have always treated him like a gelding and have therefore expected him to behave accordingly!

Mounir tragically sustained a near-fatal leg injury several years ago, and there was some doubt at that time as to whether or not his leg would recover sufficiently well to be able to withstand the rigors of a career under saddle. His unbelievable recovery, ability to paddock serve (even large Warmblood mares) unaided, and his exuberant paddock antics has given us renewed hope and we are cautiously optimistic that despite the odds, Mounir remains a possible riding prospect.
