Testimonials

  • "Hi Sue,
This is very belated but still with the very best intentions, we would like to sincerely thank you for the wonderful experience our daughter Emily had whilst attending Remba Park Riding School on Saturdays during 2008.

Emily wanted to learn to ride a horse from a very young age and at Remba she was encouraged to do her best and ‘get back on' when at first she didn't succeed.

Emily enjoyed riding every Saturday and looked forward to the next lesson, unfortunately with School commitments we are taking a break from horse riding at the moment, but I'm sure at some stage in the future Emily would like to ride again. Not only did Emily begin to learn the basics of horsemanship but at Remba she also learnt to appreciate all the people involved in providing the wonderful atmosphere that Remba has established. Everyone was so generous in their time and made us feel very welcome.

My apologies for the delay in contacting you sooner.

Best wishes for a successful year ahead,

    Mrs Danielle Eitzen and family"

  • "Remba Park camps are great! With some great ponies to ride it is always fun. The camps aren't just about riding, it is a program to teach kids how to look after horses too" Kaitlin - Latham 11yrs.
  • "Remba Park is a fun place to play games on your pony. The camp is fun because you get five fun days of horse riding and games. When you go home you want to stay and have more fun on the ponies!"

  • "When my daughters, aged 7 and 5, begged me to let them go horse riding, I initially felt nervous that they had shown an interest in a potentially risky pastime. So, I wanted to find a riding school where they would learn how to ride properly -- in a safe, pleasant environment, where the emphasis was on learning how to handle horses with confidence and respect. My own childhood experiences with horses had consisted of occasional trail rides and three-hour hire sessions with no advice on correct horse-handling techniques, and little or no supervision. As a result I have always felt a little bit nervous around horses. I wanted my daughters to learn to appreciate that horses are strong but gentle animals, and to experience the rewards of learning the correct riding techniques, as well as how to treat horses kindly but firmly. Several people recommended Remba Park Riding School to me, so when the girls arrived for their first lessons I was expecting good things. I was not disappointed. The reality has surpassed my expectations – and the girls have absolutely loved their introductory rides. The proprietor, Sue, and instructor, Vicki, impressed us with their professionalism, patience, knowledge and, above all, their desire to give young children the most positive experience of horse riding possible"
