El
Caballero Esforzado
"Zado"
Sire: Corveto
(imp) Dam: Lila 1996 15.2hh
Zado
possesses the classic temperament of the Andalusian horse and is a loyal, well
mannered and even tempered stallion. He has excellent bone and conformation, that
has proven to be passed on to his offspring. Zado was selected as the stud's breeding
stallion due to his strong and very correct legs and extended, straight movement
making him an attractive choice for breeding competition horses.
Zado
has excelled as a riding horse since his showring debut, the 2000 Perth Royal
Show in which he was awarded Champion Ridden Purebred Andalusian. Since this time
he has retained and built on his success being awarded most notably 2002 State
Champion Ridden Purebred Andalusian, 2003 National Champion Ridden Andalusian
& 2004 State Champion Ridden Andalusian as well as many other significant
wins. Zado has also competed successfully in official dressage. He is a willing
and enthusiastic learner. Zado is a consistent Champion in hand winning most notably
2002 Reserve State Champion Stallion, 2003 Reserve National Champion Stallion,
2004 Reserve State Champion Senior Stallion.
Zado's
sons remain unbeaten in the show ring. His son Atomico
(Dam: Dalera) was awarded the 2004 State Champion
Andalusian award after winning his colt class, at his debut show, an achievement
won over many more senior, long standing champion stock. Atomico's full brother
Hero (pictured below) has been a consistent Champion, winning 2002 State Champion
Junior Colt, 2002 Gosnells Supreme Champion, 2003 State Champion Junior Stallion
& 2004 State Champion Gelding.
