BREEDING RIDING PONIES AND ARABIAN RIDING PONIES

HISTORY
Our first foal was born in 1973, after winning a service in a raffle and borrowing a mare! Bevanlee Stud was registered in 1978. Along the way we have gained a lot of knowledge, met mares that will only show to fence posts, suffered the devastating loss of our stallion "Kabby" and watched with delight his grandchildren out winning under saddle knowing that the kids have done all the work.
The Foundation Stallion - Karinda Kayab

Karinda KayabKarinda Kayab was one of those horses you simply never forget. I first met him when he was six months old and loved him for the next 16 years. He had an extraordinary show career, was never beaten in a ridden stallion class and won too many All Breed Championships to name. Some of the highlights were; coming back after five years in retirement to Supreme Part Arabian Stallion at the 1991 Perth Royal Show. He won his ridden class as well, I don't know who was the most nervous and stiff! That same year he was judged Supreme Champion at the National Arabian Horse Show.

All of his children inherited his kind nature and lovely movement. We have retained all his nine daughters in the stud.
