9yr 16(ish)hh Standardbred Gelding
Over Armed aka Elmo
Unfortunately I have decided to take into consideration that I may need to find Elmo a new home. My interest with horses has taken a big hit and I’d rather race cars than ride horses.
Unfortunately this means my darling Elmo needs a new home. He is a big boy and a big mover so not for beginners/nervous riders.
He is broken in and can canter however he has not got an established canter as he finds it very overwhelming. I have done endurance, shows, trail riding, etc with him and he’s great.
He’s been around cars, bikes, cyclists, etc and great for the most part only thing he dislikes are dump trucks but he just needs to turn around and look at them and he’s fine.
He has gone over bridges, through tunnels, across roads, been to Costco casuarina on a ride just cause (have photos and videos), ridden in the dark with a head light, in a halter, bareback, etc
He is registered purebred standardbred (have papers to transfer)
Can be ridden alone or in company, no kick/bite/buck
He is only to be sold to a good home and will come with rugs (can also include some other gear) and happy to answer any questions you may have
Home is important money is not
