Crackerjack is the most awesome horse. He is quiet, willing, balanced and beautiful.
He is about 16.1hh and quite solid so is just too big for our family with our chosen sport of polocrosse.
Our girls do Eventing as well so we were trying to justify keeping him, but we have too many horses and with them away at boarding school or overseas atm, we just can’t.
He moves beautifully, so would be an amazing dressage prospect, or he’d blitz the ASH disciplines, or Pony Club, polocrosse, campdrafting, or just generally a lovely horse to ride out.
He hasn’t jumped much, but what he has done he did it with ease. He has jumping lines on both sides of his pedigree, and with his athleticism and work ethic, I’d be be very surprised if he couldn’t jump.
He has NO vices – none on the ground and none while being ridden. He walks up to you in a big paddock, or is already at the gate with a “pick me” expression on his face. He loves people.
He hasn’t been ridden since the school holidays, but we had a heap of sheep work to do on the weekend so we got the girls down and had four of them taking the ewes out – and my 12yo son rode Crackerjack. They were playing chasey and “it” on the way back every time and none of it fazed him. You can gallop him then drop the reins and walk home.
He is not polished or perfect yet, but all the basics (and much more) are solid as we have done everything right with him since birth. He is ready to go.
Watch the YouTube video we did of him! Please only get in touch if you are serious.
No the price is not negotiable.
** I just went and unofficially measured Crackerjack for a lady and he is about 16.1hh, not 15.3hh. Should have done that before posting the ad…
