I have owned Admiral for the past 6 years and he has done a bit of everything. Dressage, showjumping, eventing and adult riders.
He is a pleasure to own, easy to keep, great for farrier & vet, stable, trail ride, good to float, great camping and happy in a yard all day at events. Happy to be your only horse. He has never had any soundness issues.
Unfortunately Admiral isn’t keen to jump higher than a metre and that is what I want to do. I have persevered with him for the past couple of seasons hoping he will improve but he just isn’t brave enough for higher level eventing.
He consistently scores in the high 60% to low 70% in his eventing dressage tests, with a 1* start at Moora receiving 73.5%
Has done a few dressage days competing in Elementary but as my main focus is eventing he has only attended one official competition. Only needs to establish his flying changes and is ready for medium.
Heart breaking sale but he needs to go to a home where dressage is the focus or low level jumping.
Open to offers, will remain in work over the summer break.
