*DUE TO THE NUMBER OF ENQUIRIES I WON’T BE ARRANGING ANY MORE VIEWINGS AT THIS TIME. IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN CALLY, PLEASE TEXT YOUR DETAILS AND I’LL GET BACK TO YOU IF I HAVEN’T FOUND HIM A SUITABLE HOME WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS.
Callisto has been my partner in crime for the past 5 years and has helped me grow in confidence and as a rider. I bought him just after my first child was born because I want a safe, sane and sound schoolmaster … and he’s never let me down.
In that time we’ve competed up to unofficial Medium, been to countless training days, competitions, and lessons, and has also been to dressage club, ARC and PC. I used to take him galloping on our farm alone, and he was always very well behaved. He’s got some fancy tricks installed including flying changes, side pass, canter pirouette and piaffe. I’ve had fun playing around with these more advanced movements and learning from him, and he’s always been happy to oblige, but is realistically more suited to Elementary/Medium.
Even though he is quiet, Callisto is not suited for a beginner due to his level of training and need for clear direction (he can be tense if he doesn’t know what he’s meant to do, but is never reactive) . He would be perfect for an adult rider or experienced teen looking a safe horse to progress their riding with and build their confidence – as he did for me.
His custom VH Saddlery Dressage Saddle is negotiable in the sale if required. He’s been on a short spell so his price is negotiable until he’s brought back into full work. Will be available to view in Swan Valley after August 15.
