Solly is a solid, well-grown youngster. He is already registered, gelded, lightly handled and be ready to go upon weaning and branding. I expect that he should be quite a handy little saddle horse for the smaller/heavier rider in years to come.
Solly’s dam is a robust, yet typey mare. A true all-rounder; she has done a little in-hand showing, dressage, PC, games, endurance and cattle work with her previous young riders. She is a sweet, gentle mare who is safely handled by my 4yo.
Solly’s sire (now deceased, aged 29yo), was always a delight to handle. He was shown in hand and under saddle in his youth and produced a number of endurance horses. He came to live out the last 6mths of his life with us last year, after his elderly owner moved off the farm.
Make an offer, finding the right home is most important than price.
