I have come to the very sad realisation that no matter how hard I try, I can’t keep riding my very loved Wai as his large size hurts my reconstructed knee a lot. So, let my sad loss be your exciting gain.
Wai has carried me around countless show jumping courses up to 115cm for the last 6 or so years. He is as honest as the day is long, he will only ever stop at a fence if I have gotten the distance horribly wrong, and always tries his absolute hardest.
He is sound (I keep him on 4cyte to keep him in tip top shape), up to date with worming, shoeing, teeth, EA registration etc, and ready to compete this year.
He had a late start to his competition career and is very well put together so I think he still has many, many years in the tank.
Very well educated on the flat with lateral movements and changes established, will jump anything you point him at, and all round just a great horse to learn the ropes of jumping on.
Wai does require a confident, experienced rider and handler as he is so big and needs to be kept in his place. In saying that he is not nasty, just spooky and boisterous.
Serious enquiries only. Please feel free to call, text or email any questions and I will do my best to answer them.
