If you are wanting a competitive dressage horse or an adult rider all rounder then Admiral is perfect for you.
I have had Admiral for the past 5 years and brought him on from a very green 5 year old to now having competed upto 105 eventing and showjumping with wins and places, dressage upto elementary (could compete official at the higher levels easily but this hasn’t been my main focus) he has also attended adult riders regularly.
Unfortunately Admiral doesn’t find competing in showjumping/eventing fun anymore. He is happy to jump at home and in training but doesn’t seem to cope with the competition environment anymore. This is why I have made the very hard decision to sell him as I want to jump.
He is great at dressage events and would excel with someone who wants to compete in dressage. He is very well established with all laterals and just needs some fine tuning with his flying changes and he could compete medium easily.
He is also happy at adult riders and has been to a few ARCA challenges with great results.
He is great to handle on the ground and is a real pleasure to have at home, happy on his own or with other horses, can be bossy around food. Is great camping at events and will stand at float all day if he has food.
Needs a confident rider as he is a big horse and gets his confidence from you.
