Clayton Mulga Melody has now been started undersaddle and going very well. Rhys Morrisey from Clear Sky Performance Horses started Melody in May 2018.

I am riding her regulary, doing lots of trail riding, enforcing the great stops, leg and seat aides that Rhys put on her.

Melody was bred on Clayton Station, South Australia. Clayton is recognised by the Waler Horse Society of Australia as a breeder of Waler Horses. I will be registering her as a Waler. The Clayton horses are known the length and breadth of Australia as great allrounders. They are used for light horse duties, dressage, showing jumping, eventing, showing, trail riding, stockhorses etc. They are reknown also for their quiet natures, constitution and willingness to learn.

I purchased Melody in 2016 and leading up to her being started put in a lot of ground work. She floats beautifully. Her teeth and feet are up to date and tended to regularly.

She is for sale due to no fault of her own. Simply surplus to my needs for I have 2 other horses to ride.
