Expressions of Interest- Eliva Lombardy “Cernobbio”

Nobbie is a 6yo, 16.2hh unraced thoroughbred imported from Ireland, sired by Frankel.

Currently competing 1*, Nobbie is a jumping machine. He’s a mother’s dream XC whilst also being speedy and careful showjumping. He would make a perfect juniors horse in either discipline, almost ready to step up to the 115 level. Would also suit anyone wanting a * level prospect.

He is capable in dressage, his results include: 

74.4% at his first event in the OTT 80cm as a 4yo

70.26% in his second 95cm

67.63% & 67.75% at his first few 1*’s

This however isn’t his strongest phase and does require a knowledgeable rider to get the results out of him. He has had some lovely comments from respectable judges.

I believe Nobbie will suit a confident junior who wants to have fun and be competitive at any height. He has the potential to go higher but also loves jumping bareback, being ridden in a neck rope and galloping down the beach.

With that being said, he is not a first horse, he can be stressy at times but easily managed. He also has a pony like attitude that needs to be kept on top of, he is called Nobbie for a reason 🙈

No buck, bolt, rear, windsuck etc. but can on occasion spook. He is sound however he is a roarer, this does not affect his performance.

He just really wants to be someone’s best friend and I can’t give him the time he deserves. Only considering selling as work and study commitments whilst having two horses in the star classes is difficult. With that being said, I do not need or desperately want to sell him and if the perfect home doesn’t come along I will continue with the plan to take him east next year.
