Eloise has been our pony for three years for pony club and general pleasure riding. She has done both leadline and first ridden with both my son and daughter, along with hours of lessons. She is a pony that will adjust to the rider; slowly walking or on lead for a nervous beginner or forward moving enough for a first or second ridden rider. She is a forward-moving pony who likes to work and there is no need for a crop; she responds best to a rider who is gentle and is learning their seat aids.
Unfortunately, due to little riders growing quickly and time pressures from different sports and activities, it is time for Eloise to find a new home with kids to love her and ride her. She is getting rather bored in the paddock.
Eloise loves jumping and competing, especially games, but is equally happy to plod along on leadline. She has had hours of groundwork put into her over the last few years and is best when she is regularly in work.
Eloise has won numerous ribbons at pony club events and presents well in shows.
She loves long trail walks through the bush, and is great alone or in company. She has been a great companion for many a nervous young horse out and about for the first time.
She has gone to the beach on numerous occasions, and once in the water is very happy. Eloise is happy paddocked or stabled alone, or has been paddocked with another gelding. Currently, Eloise is stabled with paddock rotation throughout the day.
Eloise likes open and light, straight load floats and is fine on an angle load.
Eloise is offered for an initial free lease with option to buy if all goes well.
