Solomons First Light

Super Competitive Eventer/Dressage

Solomon’s First Light (Solly) is a 14yr old
Warmblood x Stock horse Chestnut Gelding 14.2 hh
Sire- Highfield Vivaldi
Dam – Tinker Toes
We were lucky enough to welcome Solly to our
family 3 years ago for my daughter when she was 14 yrs old. Coming of a 13.2
pony. Solly was the perfect gentleman that has taken her up through the grades
in Eventing and dressage.
Solly has a strong back ground in Dressage
with amazing movement, was competing at novice level and training elementary.
Solly hadn’t done a lot of eventing so we
started at 65cm and quickly moved up to 80cm which he did with very much
success. Solly has had many wins always finishing on his dressage score in the
70% Show jumping and X country we’re Solly’s favorite’s. Super bold and keen
with nothing ever phasing him. Jump fill, water , drops or ditches. Always
super honest and willing .Solly will just take it all in his stride. Solly’s
last event he stepped up to 95cm which he did with ease and definitely has
potential to go higher.
Solly was extremely competitive in both pony
club and EA events.
Solly is one of those horses that always
gives 110% whether it be flat work or jumping he is so eager to please. There’s
no dirt in Solly ridden or in the paddock. Beautiful out in the bush on his own
or with others. Can be left for weeks without a ride and is still the same
gentleman when you hop back on.
Solly has been a dream horse for my daughter
which we hoped would have lasted longer, but with full time work and other
commitments she just doesn’t have the time for Solly so he is being wasted in
the paddock.
Super blingy and handsome Solly is the
complete package. Solly can get strong when jumping but nothing that my
daughter couldn’t handle.
We would love Solly to go to a confident
experienced rider that will continue to compete him as we have.
