He was bred by a racing stud but never made it to the track.
In his younger years Midnight enjoyed some showing then had several years living a relaxed paddock life. He is now 13yo and has recently been bought back in to work, revisiting the basics of his education.
For a balanced educated rider, Midnight will work in a frame at all paces and move off the leg. He is still requiring more strength and muscle before doing anything too complicated. He has appeared safe and sensible with all riders so far but we have not had unbalanced riders or beginners on him.
It appears Midnight has had some jumping history as he’s taking it all in his stride. He has jumped everything without being spooky and is uncomplicated. He has recently been doing 70cm tracks at home with potential for higher courses.
Having spent some time with a breaker before arriving here, he has been excellent to handle in every way and is one of the less reactive TBs that I’ve worked with. He is approx 16hh, currently unshod and in his fluffy winter coat – come summer he’ll look a treat!
He is super easy to have on the property and is always happy to see you.
Midnight would love someone to give him some consistent work over the coming months to muscle up and bloom in to a very nice looking horse and reliable adult riders or PC mount, and a best friend. He is realistically priced at $2,500.
Midnight is available for viewing in Darling Downs.
