I bought Tilly in December 2019 as an unhandled 2 year old who had been living by herself on a station for around a year.
In the 6 months that I have had her she has had time to get used to being around people, been halter trained, float trained, and broken to saddle and she has been an absolute pleasure to do all of these things with.
Tilly has been to an unofficial hack show (only in Lead classes) where she was well behaved for her first time out. In March I also took her in a local Breed Show where she came 3rd out of 4 horses in the unregistered class.
Tilly is able to be registered and I have all of the paperwork to do so but due to not planning on keeping her I have decided against doing it myself.
She is one of the most trainable and fast learning horses that I have ever met and a very sweet filly. Tilly’s only couple of downfalls are that she has an umbilical hernia (has never caused her any issues) and that sometimes she can give you bit of Filly Attitude, but I do believe that she will be the perfect little horse with a bit more time.
Ideally Tilly would go to someone who has the time and space to let her grow for 6/12 months and has the experience to then bring her back into work.
Selling due to not having enough space for her to stay here permanently. Tilly currently stands unofficially at 14.3hh. Video Available on request.
