Started under saddle as a 6yo, with a little bush riding, before producing a succession of lovely foals. August 2017, she was professionally brought back into work. From there I had lessons and took her to two unofficial hack shows at the end of last year. Having some success, with earning Reserve Champion at her last show (late November). She's now on spell.
She has her quirks, but not dirt; no rear, buck or bolt (too much hard work!) She will shy (in advoidance)...but easy enough to sit to. When in full work, sometimes stalks off when you go to catch her, making you walk after her. But gives up quickly. She has done A LOT of travelling in her time. Almost self-loads; travels better when given extra room (i.e 1 & 1/2 bays in a triple)...hates standing still (digs/stomps). Plays 'bluff' to worm - pesistance/growling and she can be done orally. Good for the farrier, rug, tie, bath etc.
Only for sale, as I am focusing on bringing her daughter on as my next ridden prospect. Balancing riding, a young child and going back to Tafe, I won't have enough time to ride both. Of the two, Honey is currently more 'saleable'.
