Cavalletti Sponsorship - Daisy Scott

Cavalletti Classifieds would like to introduce Daisy Scott our 2011 sponsored rider from the Entry Fee and Training Assistance Program (EFATAP) program run by Kirsten Twining. EFATAP is a new program that has been set up to assist riders to afford to enter National (CNC) & International (CIC and CCI) level events, plus attend training clinics with interstate coaches.

WA has a large, passionate & strong equestrian community. Many horse owners spend a huge percentage of their time and money on their sport. There is much talent in this state, with Olympians, World Championship competitors & National Young Rider representatives being sourced from WA in the past few years.

One major hurdle WA Eventing riders face is the ever increasing cost of attending quality clinics & high level competitions.  Eventing is an exciting & intense sport requiring ongoing dedication and discipline by riders. It takes years to train a horse for Eventing, with many physical, mental, logistical & financial obstacles to overcome along the way. The program aims at assisting young WA Eventing riders achieve their dreams by getting local businesses to support them, and through this program it is the hope of all involved that future Olympians and world class riders can reach their goals!!

From Daisy;Thank you for your sponsorship for the Stuart Tinney Clinic at Dryandra Equestrian Park last weekend. I had a fantastic time, learnt a huge amount and feel much more confident about the upcoming 2011 Eventing season.Your sponsorship means a great deal; my horse was out-of-action for the greater part of the 2010 season with a tendon injury hence my eagerness to get back into the saddle. Eventing is a tough sport that is becoming increasingly expensive especially as you move through the grades. Sponsors support will help local riders achieve their goals and provide avenues for competitive eastern states travel and WA representation.”
