Sadly my daughter has outgrown Jasper and he is ready to
find his next little rider. Jasper has an amazing temperament, he’s an easy
pony to handle and loves attention and being ridden. He was my daughter’s first
pony (she was a petit 11yo) and she has always managed to handle him on her
own. She even taught him to have a stockwhip cracked off him!!

Jasper is not a ‘nappy’ pony, he is always happy to leave a
group and go be ridden whether it is at pony club, a competition or trail
riding.

Jasper would be perfect for a rider who is balanced and can
walk, trot and canter independently. Jasper can be ridden in a halter,
bareback, have a whip cracked off him, walk on tarps and through pool noodles.
He loves trail rides and has lived on a cattle farm for the last 3 years. My
daughter can ride him in open paddocks, cantering, jumping logs, going through
creeks etc with no issues. He is used to tractors, machinery etc.

Jasper is easy to take off property to events, pony club
and to friend’s properties. He has been to pony club for years with many of his
riders and has competed in ODE’s, mounted games and jumping. He has even been
to a Stockman’s Challenge Clinic. His favourite discipline is jumping and he can
happily jump up to 65cm.

Whether Jasper is ridden 3 times per week or once a
fortnight he is always the same. Recently my daughter’s friend competed him at
a showjumping event having only ridden him once before. Jasper was not fazed
with a different rider and had two clear rounds and placed in once class.

Jasper is happy paddocked alone or with other horses, he
will need to be on a property that has at least one other horse. He is easy to
float, self loads (straight or angle), farrier (barefoot), worm, catch, have
his teeth done etc. He is a good doer, has not had laminitis or foundered,
however we are very careful with his diet.

Jasper would suit a pony club home or he would be happy to live on a farm and spend his days trail riding.
He will only be sold to a
knowledgeable loving home and I may ask for references. This pony is worth his
weight in gold, very heartbreaking sale.

his gear including two bridles, rugs and a 15” Wintec lite delux saddle
