Summer
Summer is a beautiful thoroughbred mare searching for a new home.
We picked Summer up in August last year in the hopes she would make a nice addition to our polo team, unfortunately she’s not suitable.
Prior to us Summer had undergone training at a pretrainers and then had a spell and then we picked her up.
She is establishing a beautiful walk, trot and canter. She is a forward big mover and is developing softness and suppleness.
She lunges nicely and has popped over a couple of x rails. Easy to ride down the road and out at the pine forrest (she does enjoy a good stretch out), she happily goes out with or without company.
She floats/trucks easily, loading onto the float she needs patience and time to load without resistance but is getting better.
She has never bucked or bolted but has reared once (it was an overwhelming situation and is not a repetitive issue)
Summer is a very lovely easy horse to have around. Easy for the farrier (currently shod fronts), dentist and worming (all up to date).
She is in light work due to work commitments.
