Gorgeous Versatile, Fun & Competitive Pony
Sadly, our beautiful Cashew is ready for a new rider as my daughter’s legs keep growing.
Cashew is such a happy, fun-loving pony who with us (and previous owners) theirs very little she hasn’t done and doesn’t love doing.
She has taken our daughter from her old school-master pony to becoming a confident and competitive rider, learning the art of leg yielding, side passing, flying changes, jump striding and more.
Cashew has been a brilliant teacher and confidence-builder every step of the way, it took a little time to learn her buttons and find good balance and trust with each other but once they did there was no stopping them and they absolutely thrived together.
This season we have competed mostly in Show Jumping and Cashew absolutely shone as she does and they had the most amazing and successful season.
They have won so so much and if not in the winner’s circle it’s always been rider error.
Cashew genuinely tries her heart out, always doing her very best to help her rider, she has an incredible ability to safely get her rider out of tricky striding situations and is nothing short of a legend.

🏆 Qualified for State Pony Club Show Jumping 70, 80 and 90 (unable to attend unfortunately)

🏆 Yalambi EA State Show Jumping — first time for them in Ring 2, 4th place by a tiny margin in a huge class of 51 experienced EA open riders

Cashew is excellent to compete indoors or outdoors, day or night under lights with music and noisey crowds.
While we personally don’t compete dressage or show horse (our rider claims she’s “allergic” 😄), Cashew trains regularly with our brilliant dressage coach and works beautifully on the flat.
She enjoys all disciplines in a trust ported eggbutt bit including Cross Country and even Galloping on the race track near our property. She is a very easy keeper with no special diet requirements.

Outside of competition, Cashew is the ultimate family pony. She has the sweetest personality. She smiles, gives kisses and does fist bumps and hugs on command. Gentle with tiny totts, dogs, cats, chooks etc
She happily does double-dinkies, lets kids slide off her bum, ride through the big sprinklers bareback in a halter or neckrope , and loves riding out alone or in company around our busy streets and the local racetrack . She adores the beach (loves splashing everyone), mounted games (especially barrel racing), and absolutely loves all things Pony Club and Cross Country, including water jumps.
Cashew is a genuine, talented and deeply loved pony who has given our daughter so much joy, confidence and unforgettable memories.
She is not Marey at all.
She is not for a first-ridden, (although she adores tiny totts and lest them ride her around), would suit a confident second-ridden onwards or would also make a fantastic Small adult mount for someone wanting a fun, honest, experienced and highly competitive all-rounder.

We are happy to wait to find the right Family who will love her as much as we do as she truly is one in a million.
She will come with both her fitted Jump and Dressage saddles, Bridles, Rugs, Boots, Fly Veils etc.
Up to date with Teeth, Feet, Worming, Body work etc.
