Patches - 15yo Shetland Gelding -
Katanning, WAWith a heavy heart, we are offering Patches, our much-loved 15-year-old Shetland gelding, to an approved home only.
Patches is a genuine little character who has been part of our family for many years. He is easy for children to handle and regularly attends Pony Club. He is happy being brushed, fussed over and included in family life, and has spent many afternoons tied up in our backyard by the trampoline while the kids played around him.
He is a sensible, experienced little pony who knows his job and enjoys being involved.
Home is Non-Negotiable
Patches will not be sold to:
- First-time horse owners
- Beginner horse homes
- Homes without suitable facilities
He must go to an experienced horsey home that understands the management requirements of Shetlands and other chunky pony breeds. His new owners must have appropriate facilities to safely manage grazing and maintain a healthy weight, including the ability to lock up or restrict grass when required.
We are in no rush to sell and are committed to finding the right home. Preference will be given to homes with proven pony experience.
