Leedale Irish Sloan
17hh 8yo registered Irish sport horse. This is an INCREDIBLY difficult and heartbreaking sale for us we love Sloan to bits and he will not be sold unless the perfect home comes along. The only reason for sale is we do not gel under saddle.
Sloan is a beautiful character who we have owned for two years purchased directly from his breeder. He needs a very confident consistent rider with patience and understanding for groundwork & values a bond between him and his rider.
Sloan has attended many pony club rallies, showjump days, dressage competitions, beach days, trail rides and plenty of outings. He has had a go at eventing and enjoys it just needs a strong confident rider out on the XC. He adores his jumping and has plenty of scope as well as showing lovely potential in dressage.
Sloan gets his confidence from his rider and relies strongly on a good bond. He needs someone kind and knowledgeable. I believe he would excel in any chosen discipline with the correct rider for him, would probably suit adult over teen, definitely not a child’s horse.
He does have his quirks and happy to discuss with serious buyers, I want to be 100% honest to ensure he ends up with his perfect match. Would love someone who’s willing to put in some work getting back into the swing of things
We are so proud of the horse Sloan has become and would hate to see him go backwards with the wrong home so will be very picky please don’t be offended by this. Must provide solid references. Currently in LIGHT work.
