Ernie is a striking black stock horse gelding. He is registered and was purchased from over east as a 2yo.

In the 2 years I’ve had Ernie he has been exposed to a lot. He has attended serpentine pre royal in 2025, the Royal show 2025 and Waroona ag show 2026. With placings at every show and behaving like a true gentleman.

He is perfect to catch, rug, float and shoe. However he has great feet and doesn’t require shoes.

Ernie was broken in as a 3yo at the start of 2026 by Jamie Townsend. I continued riding him for 3 months before winter hit. In the 3 months, Ernie was rode in the arena, down the roads, at the pines and attended one Campdraft where he walked around and did some turnbacking.

He is for sale as I have had no time to bring him back into work, due to this he is being sold as unbroken. He will require re starting or a confident and experienced person to bring him back into work due to the length of time he has had off.  He is YOUNG and GREEN so needs to be treated accordingly despite the fact he is quiet. He can be cold backed when girthing up when out of work, so something I can discuss more with interested parties.

Located in Yarloop Wa, please note I’m firm on price before enquiring.
