Description
Basil stands at approx 15.3 hands and has had intermittent light education. Due to time restraints, he is green for his age but is a fast learner and loves a job. Although bred to showjump, he has the attributes to excel in any Olympic discipline.
Basils dam jumped at 1.20 - 1.30 level for several years and rarely came home without a placing in young rider, amateur and mini-Prix classes. Basil is the only foal we were able to get from her.
He has recently had a few outings and last weekend did a Les Bunning clinic and took everything in his stride. He’s got a soft snaffle mouth and has always been sound barefoot.
Difficult sale of my dream horse that’s come along at the wrong time in my life. Would love to see him go to a competition home, but more importantly where he will be loved and given some purpose. He is intelligent, green and a bit quirky, therefore not suitable for beginners, nervous riders or kids.
