Description

Eclipse
“Back and Five” - Thoroughbred
15.1hh (unofficial) 9yo Brown Gelding

*Windsucker* Does not affect condition in a paddocked environment.
*Experienced Riders only
*No one under 18years unless parent consent and appropriate experience level.
*No trials, no leases, no tack included.

Easy to float - straight /angle load, truck. Self loads and travels alone or with company.
Easy to handle - he will normally catch you.
Easy for the farrier - done in the paddock.
Currently barefoot and has always been since retiring from racing.
Easy to clip - full clip with no sedation.
Regular chiropractic work - maintenance
Easy to take out - doesn’t get separation anxiety when taken away and happily stands eating hay when left back at the yards.
Easy to feed - currently in a grassed paddock getting a small feed twice daily. No crazy diet, gets fed the same as my Quarterhorse.
Excellent ground manners - will stand around in the tie ups unattended without drama.

He would suit a low level competition home, farm hack, adult riders mount and practically anything in between.
I no longer have the desire to have multiple horses in full work at this stage and needing to reduce numbers, therefore he isn’t getting the work he needs to be out competing.

Competed up to 95cm Showjumping and 80cm Eventing.
Been to the beach, mustering, barrel racing and has been exposed to riding on the road.
Does not jig jog home when on a trail, will happily walk out on a loose rein and doesn’t get worked up when left by another horse to continue on without them.
Can be left for days/weeks and get on without hassle.
Snaffle mouth for all aspects of riding.

Had been to regular adult riders rallies, OTT clinics and off property outings.
