14 years old Beautiful Bonnie
Bonnie is a much-loved pony looking for her next family as our son has sadly outgrown her. She has been a wonderful teacher and confidence builder, helping him grow into a capable young rider. He wanted to keep her as a breed prospect however , he has another horse to compete on and hasn't had the time to commit to both. We also know Bonnie will be happier in an active home out and about.
Bonnie is best suited to a lead line, second ridden or confident rider who will enjoy her affectionate nature and ability to try anything. We would love to see her go to an experienced show home where she can get out and about doing a variety of horse events that she excells at.
Bonnie is great to rug, lead, float, paddock with other horses, take to the beach, great for the vet and the farrier. Above all she is a mothers dream, a safe no nasty mount with experience under her belt to take any little person into the discipline they desire. She is a clever pony which makes her enjoyable and rewarding to ride.
During her time with us Bonnie has been out and about doing a variety of activities including: (list specific successes here)
- Pony Club at for 4 years and prior to this with two girls and a very enthusiastic boy
- Mounted Games
- Quindanning Picnic Races
- Riding lessons
- Regular rides around the block and trail riding
- Beach Rides
- Lead line
- Shows
At her last show Bonnie comfortably jumped 60cm and shows plenty of ability to go higher with the right rider. She enjoys being active and having a job to do. She shows a lovely awareness of younger riders, has a soft mouth and a nice stop but if needed she can also be a forward pony ready to get the job done.
Bonnie is currently paddocked with a miniature horse and a Quarter Horse and gets along well with both.
She is a very special pony to our family and we would love to see her go to a kind and loving home where she will continue to be enjoyed and appreciated. So please no time wasters, this is a very difficult sale, happy to view and trial on property.
