Description
Ollie is a striking 14-year-old liver chestnut Thoroughbred gelding, officially measured at 16.3½hh. Registered with the Show Horse Council (SHC) and holding an OTTB passport, Ollie is an experienced and competitive show horse with an impressive record. He had a standout 2024 season, consistently placing Champion or Reserve at most outings, including Runner-Up Large Show Hack at the 2024 SHCWA Classic, qualifying him for the SHC Grand Nationals. He also made a successful debut at the Perth Royal Show 2024, winning both the Novice Hack over 16.2hh and the Open Hack over 16.2hh.Ollie is well-educated with a soft snaffle mouth, and he’s easy to float, clip, shoe, and prepare for shows. He is well-behaved off property and thrives in the show environment. While he does not buck or rear, due to his size and personality, he would be best suited to a confident and capable rider or handler. He is not suitable for jumping but would excel in the show horse or dressage arenas. Ollie is currently on spell and in paddock condition, ready to be brought back into work. This is a regretful sale through no fault of his own, and he will only be sold to a genuine, caring home.
