Regretful Sale – Talented Showjumper/Eventer Looking for His Next Confident Partner
It’s with a heavy heart that I’ve made the decision to find a new home for my beautiful boy, Minton.
Minton is a 12-year-old gelding with a strong performance background, having competed up to 1.05m in Showjumping and 80cm in Eventing. He has expressive movement, great scope, and loads of potential in the right hands. Minton is EA registered and well known in the Pony Club and Adult Rider circuits.
He’s best suited to a confident, experienced rider who can bring out the best in him, as he can be opinionated at times and may throw in the occasional spook.
Minton is easy to handle for the farrier, dentist, and floats without fuss. He prefers to be paddocked separately, as he can be food-protective and has a cheeky habit of testing the durability of rugs.
This is a very difficult decision, but due to personal motivation struggles, Minton hasn’t been in consistent work and deserves someone who can give him the time, attention, and love he thrives on.
