Description
Basil has
been started and done some light work under-saddle but not competed due to time
restraints. He’s nicely put together and moves well. He’s intelligent which is
accompanied by some quirks, like pushiness on the ground if allowed. He’s
happiest when he’s got a job and is always waiting at the gate for some attention.
Paddocks well with other horses, floats and transports fine, easy to trim, worm,
handle. Basil will windsuck when board, haven’t seen him do at it home for
years, even when stabled.
I’m moving
away from heavy competition and Basil has too much potential to waste in the
paddock. Would suit confident rider who understands green/young horses and is
willing to put the time in to continue his education.
His dam
jumped up to Mini Prix level for several years with too many wins and placings
to list. Born from a frozen embryo, he was the only foal I was able to get from
