Description
Ken is offered for sale as a result of my university commitments.
I purchased Ken at the end of 2017 straight off the track with the intention that he would be a second competition (eventing) horse for me. He had almost a year off as a direct result of uni and work commitments. He received light on and off work following this. From the end of 2019 up until this point in time he has received much more attention and progressed really nicely on the flat.
I have weekly lessons with Colin Chantler who has helped me provide Ken with good flat work foundations.
I have started to jump Ken over cross rails and small verticals and he is getting the hang of it quite nicely.
Ken has had limited experience off our property, however I have taken him out recently on his own and with another horse and he had no issues when he was out or with floating (we have an angle load).
Ken is fine to be ridden at night under lights and has been exposed to dogs/sheep/ducks/quad bikes.
He is good with the farrier and currently has 2 front shoes on. He’s a good doer and fine with other horses.
Ken will be best suited to a confidant rider.
Ken has come a long way and I would really like to see his training and education continue. He will only be sold to the best of homes. Video available on request.
Price is negotiable.
