Noodle

I’m looking to find a new home for my 15-year-old Morgan cross Riding pony Noodle. She’s a sweet pony but requires a special person who can understand her needs and quirks.

Noodle is NOT to be ridden. She can be unpredictablde with a tendency to kick, rear, and occasionally run straight at you.  I truly believe she needs a home where someone with confidence can work with her through groundwork, or just wants a paddock ornament. Noodle responds best when someone shows calm leadership, especially when she’s being difficult in the paddock.

I’ve done some agility with her in the past, and she has enjoyed some components of it, one of her favourite things to do is put her foot on a bucket. However, she does get very nervous at times, so she needs a handler who is patient and willing to build up her confidence slowly. It’s important to me that she’s placed in a home where she won’t be pushed to be something she’s not comfortable with.

I understand she is the perfect size for a child’s pony, but Noodle has had some trauma around riding and is not at all suitable for anybody on her back. She’s the kind of pony who needs time to grow in a safe environment, where she can continue doing activities she enjoys at her own pace while gaining confidence.

Noodle is a companion who needs her own companion as she gets very jealous if other ponies are getting attention.
