Description
Lottie is a quality young mare with movement and presence to be a competitive mount in the hack or dressage ring while still having the versatility to pursue western or stock work. Very eye-catching silver bay mare with potential in any ring. Lottie has been ridden by a teenager and attended pony club and has been off property regularly for the past year taking new environments in stride.
She has also been lightly introduced to barrels and stock work, where she has shown genuine interest and natural agility, suggesting she could develop into a very handy western or stock horse mount with the right rider.
Lottie has been schooling over jumps up to 70cm. While jumping has not been a major focus prior to arriving with me, she is showing promise and would benefit from a confident rider to continue her education. On the flat she works in a lovely frame with a floating trot and naturally uphill canter.
Lottie has a beautiful, affectionate personality – always the first to the gate and loves attention, happily following you around the paddock.
• Trail ridden around the farm alone and in company
• Not spooky and well exposed to large farm machinery and noise
• Paddocks well with others but prefers a smaller herd or individual turnout, simply settling better this way
Lottie would make a very fun and competitive mount for a confident rider wanting a quality mount in any discipline. She has the calm and movement for a dressage or hack rider but can definitely kick it up a gear or two if you want a stock mount or potential rodeo star.
Lottie would suit a confident, experienced teenage or adult rider looking for a talented horse with versatility and potential. She is not suitable as a first horse or for young children.
Located in Borden, WA but can be brought to Albany if needed.
