Amber was proven too slow to race after three trials. She is sweet, sensitive, and smart . Not “marey”, just a playful, willing horse who gives her best whether under saddle or working at liberty.
She’s currently ridden in a bitless hackamore, has a solid foundation in groundwork, and is gaining strength and confidence with every ride. In April, Amber attended her first show. While she didn’t place, she gave it her best and handled the atmosphere well. With continued exposure, she has the potential to make a lovely dressage prospect or pony club mount but would equally thrive in a hacking or liberty-focused home.
Amber lives out 24/7 with a paddock mate. She is not dominant, easy to handle, and is does best on a grain-free diet. She’s great for the farrier (fronts only), vet, physio etc. and is fully up to date with all care.
She would suit a confident, kind, and knowledgeable home looking for a rewarding project to bring along. Amber will thrive with someone who values thoughtful horsemanship and the journey as much as the outcome.
