Description
Eric is a versatile, kind-natured horse with the potential to excel in any discipline. Since retiring from a successful racing career in January 2024, he has been given the time to let down, develop strength, and gain balance.
He has competed in online dressage tests, earning multiple blue ribbons, and is confidently jumping around 60cm at home with a lovely front end and scope to go higher. Eric has proven to be brave and willing, happily walking over tarps, playing in water trays, and taking fill in his stride.
On the flat, he is now working in a consistent frame and has recently begun lateral work, showing a great willingness to learn and improve.
Eric has been ridden by a variety of riders, from high-level show jumpers through to complete beginners, and adapts well to his rider. That said, he is still a green thoroughbred, so he would best suit a kind, consistent rider who is willing to continue his education.
He stands approximately 15.2hh, is currently shod in front, and is up to date with dental care (records available).
Eric will come with a full wardrobe, making him an easy, ready-to-go package. There is also the option to purchase his custom-fitted bridle and saddle at an additional cost.
