Athletic bay gelding, strong sold build legs.
Lightly campaigned
Lots of bush rides / estuary
Established on flat (prelim)
New to jumping but doesn't refuse . Will cat leap over a puddle of water etc when walking around the farm.
Now ready to go on with competition, further education etc will benefit from consistent schooling unfortunately I was unable to give regular time and training due to busy schedule with racehorses.
Earl appears to enjoy jumping and shows scope for higher levels but SJ is not my forte. Earl would also make a good eventing prospect as he loves jumping logs out in the bush and has a nice ground covering stride.
He is a fast learner and will benefit from an experienced and confident eventer or showjumping rider as he takes his confidence from the rider. He can get separation anxiety if taken to a show with a mate so either take him alone for the first few times or make sure he has a companion back at the float.
Earl was taught to self load on a straight load float as a yearling however the last few years has been transported on my truck as I no longer have a float.
Earl prefers to be paddocked with friends however he is unfortunately a rug wrecker and enjoys tearing and ripping his paddock mate rugs for fun. He is also a pain for pawing on the gate at feed time and despite reprimanding him it's in one ear out the other sigh.
Sound, currently barefoot and up to date with teeth etc
Reduced price to reflect not in full work - my lack of time has unfortunately meant Earl hasn't had regular work and my loss is your gain. With a couple of months work his value will double.
