Sporthorse filly - Welsh x TB
Ketford Downs Jedda (Jedda)
Rising 2yr old (19 months)
Currently 14h. Should mature to 15h
Flowing trot and a very good brain. Kind, loving and willing mare.
-Very well handled.
-Walks on loose lead. Mirrors your stride/stop.
-Rugged, stable/yarded at night.
-Can be yarded all day if ever needed and doesn’t get silly.
-Stands tied up for ages.
-Waits for her feed/hay net to be placed.
-Excellent to float and for farrier.
-Teeth done.
-Feet 5 weekly (just done).
-Microchipped.
Have introduced saddle on back (didn’t care).
She is a very bold and trusting mare who takes everything in her stride and loves to learn. Loves humans. Always comes to you and easy to catch.
She is in with a matriarch mare so has kept up her respect for other horses.
Plenty of exposure to cars, bikes, chainsaw, tractor. Loves the blower 
Experienced home only with young horses or someone with large property who will still spend some time with her to keep up human contact and take her to a trainer to further educate once she has matured.
Jedda is a quality filly who will make an exceptional partner.
She will suit any discipline with her beautiful flowing movement and good strong confirmation. Very sure footed too. We live on a hilly property so she is well experienced with hills. Excellent strong feet. Should never need shoes.
She shows interest in jumping as pops over a log in the paddock now and then with good judgement and clearance. Also spins with good balance when I’ve seen her so possibly even a great Western horse if not an eventer/show jumper or teen pony club mount. Showing such versatility.
Unfortunately I don’t have time to keep up her groundwork training and she is eager to learn more and more. I know I will regret this sale when I do have time. If I had a big paddock I would let her mature until I have time again (if I ever have enough time) but I don’t have such a paddock and staying in a small one I feel is not right for her. She needs the right home now to progress with.
