Happyvale Leo

Buckskin Lusosporthorse

POA

Description

Happyvale Leo is a solid build dual registered buckskin stallion.
He is out of my Friesian x Australian Stockhorse mare with whom I have covered many miles doing Campdrafting, and Working equitation and just for fun.  Her Sire was Reitse, a well respected Friesian and  her dam  was a stockhorse who had the biggest heart and try there is.
His Sire is Saphiro who has produced countless progeny all over the world preforming well in all disciplines including carriage, showing the versatility and trainability.
Leo has a wonderful temperament and is very well mannered.  He has been to in hand show and behaved well.  He has been ridden, although time restraints have kept this light.  He has produced several offspring, all of which have his temperament, trainability and are horses of substance.
He is in the prime of his life at almost 13 yrs old.  I will no longer be breeding from him and it is time to part ways with him to give him the opportunity to enrich someone else's life.
He would suit someone wanting to breed as he produces quality offspring.  He has crossed successfully to Australian Stockhorses, Warmbloods, Andalusians and Arabians.
He would just as well make an excellent ridden gelding.  Every good stallion makes a great gelding.  I have gelded a mature serving stallion before who went on as a very nice ridden horse.
There is great interest in him as a ridden gelding.  I am happy to geld him, get him going again under saddle and then sell.  This process will take some months and I would lilke to offer him as a stallion first, as once he is gelded, this cannot be undone.
So if you are interested in him as a stud, even if you aim to geld him later, please get in touch sooner rather than later.  I will include some photos of his progeny.
AaEeCrcr.  He is able to produce all 3 base colours and 50% chance of passing on his creme.
