As a foal, Opal cut her pastern and injured a tendon. She underwent surgery to repair the injury and give her the best possible chance of a full recovery. She has never been lame; however, given her history, I would prefer not to place the leg under the demands of a competitive riding home. Although I do think she would be sound for general riding she is primarily be offered for sale as a future broodmare.

I feel she would be an asset to any stud with her looks, breeding and colour, her Sire: Imperial Gold Reign (Q-60800) AQHA Register of Merit, great conformation and movement with lovely nature and very trainable and Dam: MP One Special Moment (Q-85951), shown as foal and yearling by One Awesome Moment from WP SPECIALICIOUS dual registered AQHA and Paint who was well shown with points for both associations.
