Description

Noblewood Park Corina (2008)
By Noblewood Park Cougar out of Lidwina Z( (imp) Ramiro Z x Apple King).
16hh Hanovarian rising 18yo old bay mare with the most amazing temperament. She is registered in the head stud book with AWHA.
She has a solid dressage education. Shoulder in, leg yield, extended trot, flying changes, walk to canter transitions and stunning movement, and can settle on her hocks like no other horse I’ve ever ridden. She has previously competed up to 1.04m but started late so in very good condition if age is a concern. She doesn't like to get her feet wet so great at jumping over it, and for this reason, I don’t think she would enjoy X-country.
We have gone for multiple off property lessons and adult riders where she was perfectly behaved and looked after me the entire time and I have hacked out with others and on her own with no problems.
More recently she has been a paddock puff but is slowly coming back into work and fitness therefore price reflects this. Corina has also had 2 stunning foals. She was easy to breed, foal down and is an amazing mum.
Whilst she can be forward when ridden, there is no nastiness at all. Probably not for beginners and other than the odd mare face she is amazing to handle and paddock with other horses. She is a horse you can leave in a paddock for a while and then get on no problem.
She has her small quirks but is a sweetheart and I believe she would pick up liberty work very well, she is easy to train. She begs for her supper and treats by handing you her paw (hoof) and also loves a mutual groom with her handler.
If stressed she can have a nervous tick of one leg flying out, not a kicker by nature, and I have found she would never do this to me once she got to know me and trusted me. I can now stand behind her and brush her tail or give her a tail scratch with no problem. When loading, she can give a nervous back leg but its a one off, usually if it her solo on the float.
An extremely hard sale and is only due to work and family commitments, so she isn’t getting the attention she deserves as my daughter has a horse at another property and this is also taking up more time than I have spare.
Ideally, I would love Coco to go to an experienced adult rider home, where she will be loved and be someone’s Number One or a confident teen who doesn't mind a bit more go than woah. She doesn't bolt, just forward. She still has so much life and love to give to someone and I only want what’s best for her. Can come with all her gear if required.
