Spirit is a beautiful black/brown thoroughbred gelding with the kindest nature and a huge heart. He has been part of my life for the past 18 months and finding him the right home is incredibly important to me.
Over the past year Spirit has successfully attended Adult riders, where he has been a fun and willing partner. He absolutely loves having a job and forms a strong bond with his rider, he is always the first to meet you at the paddock and is incredibly affectionate.
Spirit was originally started in eventing and is very brave and honest over fences. He will happily jump whatever you point him at, including ditches and water up to 1m.
Spirit successfully placed 5th recently in Harvey in 50cm, 2nd overall in the jump series in Serpentine and won the optimum time at the Grand Prix 65cm. However, I have found that Eventing environments can make him extremely stressed when it comes to the jumping phases , and because of that I don’t feel it’s fair to continue pushing him in that direction, unless you are willing to give him the time and patience he needs.
At home he is a lovely horse to ride and work with. He loves flat work, bush walks, learns quickly and genuinely tries to please. He also enjoys bush rides and is great around livestock, happily working around sheep, cows, goats, dogs, chickens and turkeys.
He has also attended a breed hack show, where he was incredibly relaxed even falling asleep ringside. He is very showy and will turn heads.

Spirit would thrive with someone wanting a genuine partner for Adult Riders, hacking, pleasure riding, jumping at home or farm life.
This is not a sale I am rushing. Spirit means a lot to me and will only be sold to the perfect home where he will continue to be spoiled, loved and appreciated. I am more than happy to wait for the right person.
