Description
Adelle aka Dot is a beautiful natured, green 7yo mare, born 2019. However Dot has EMS, so any prospective owners need to be prepared to take this condition on and manage her accordingly, if not, please do not enquire. She is under the care of Dr Tania Sundra and Chris Beggs (farrier). Currently off her medication and insulin is normal.
Her 3 monthly insulin checks and 4-5 weekly glue shoes (fronts only) do require financial commitment, and maintaining her weight and consistent work is essential, yet relatively easy. Her glue on's can possibly come off depending on the property, unfortunately where we are doesn't permit it presently. Dot's EMS journey has been worth it, this stoic, incredibly affectionate little pony has much to offer and needs a family to continue her education, love her to bits and enjoy her completely.
She had a soft snaffle mouth who just even with months off work, starts where we stopped. Sensible on rides and on roads (road work minimal) she loves the bridle trail, a good thinker and happy with or without company. Her flat working coming along nicely, a lovely pony to ride and typical of our Bryn progeny very light in the hand. No exposure to jumping. Dot was broken in age 5 (as I don't break in early). Her first exposure with small kids varying in age she was very good, ridden bareback and even had toddlers having a tantrum at her back legs with no fuss. If she was 13.2h I wouldn't be selling her.
Dot does have a ganglion on her off fore, scanned and sound, with a few other minor blemishes. She is registered with WPCS, eligible Part-bred reg with APSB, RPSB.
