Description
Heidi is a 16yo Standardbred mare who has recently come into work after a long time in the paddock.
She was successful on the racetrack, retired sound and has gone on to have 3 foals.
A stable favourite, Heidi has been a paddock ornament for a considerable amount of years! However she is completely wasted as she is such a lovely, kind mare with so much to give.
She is sensible on the ground and under saddle, floats and trucks well, good to catch, farrier etc. Good in the paddock on her own or with others.
She has been an absolute dream coming back into work and we believe she would be wonderful as a trail riding horse, adult riders etc.
Unfortunately she had a paddock accident a while back, and does have some scar tissue on her near side hind. This is only cosmetic however, and doesn’t affect her movement.
