Description
Flicka is a registered Welsh 14hh (unofficially measured) chunky chestnut mare. She is 9 years old
Flicka is not suit as a lead line or first ridden.
She is very forward and loves a job to do, with a calm seated rider she is relaxed and very chill. Flicka is a sensitive and reactive mare that is extremely bold and brave and relies heavily on her riders confidence. She will push your boundaries and test you if you allow her to.
My daughter, who is 14, has had Flicka for 2 years, is this time she has learned so much from her, however, we feel she really isn't the best fit for her.
Flicka has been exposed to pony club and show jumping events where she has been placed in 75cm with the potential to go higher with a confident rider.
She is great on trail rides, with or without another horse, she isn't reliant on a buddy and can be paddocked alone or with others. She does not get separation anxiety. She is quite a dominant mare in the herd environment.
She is good to float and with the farrier, she is up to date with teeth, worming and feet.
Flicka always come to greet you at the gate, loves a cuddle but isn't overly smoochy.
She does have a few quirks which I'm happy to discuss with serious buyers. She is deeply loved and cared for by us and we would love to find her a home that loves her just as much.
We are located near Margaret River. We would consider selling her fitted saddle and tack at an extra cost.
