Dottie is 4 rising 5
OTTB mare, Dottie is a beautiful mover who naturally carries herself in a frame, she is a beautiful girl on the ground and in the saddle and an absolute pleasure to have around
She is an excellent doer, she loves being in work she is a bold confident mare who will work with you in everything you ask of her
Dottie is free as she is currently unsound and will need ongoing care and she will need to shod once brought back into work
After a second opinion Dottie has extremely thin soles on her front fee and very flat feet and she will need to be shod moving forward once brought into work. Dott has two months left on spell before she can be brought back into work
XRAYS WILL BE PROVIDED TO ANY INTERESTED PARTIES
Known vices
Windsucking if she is stabled but it is easily controlled with a collar and I have not seen her windsuck in a bigger paddock or when she is out with other horses - collar will be provided
Dislike of dogs - Dott does not like dogs she wont go out of her way to attack them but if they come near her or get in her space she will put her ears back and try to chase them away. I have never witnessed her actually attack a dog but she really doesn't like them being in her space
Dottie is currently in paddock condition as she has been out on spell for 5 weeks, she is currently spelling with 5 other mares and is bottom of the pecking order
My original intention was to keep Dottie until she was proven sound however, due to a radical change in circumstances I am no longer able to keep her and she deserves to find a suitable home where she can be monitored closely
I am happy to discuss the circumstances privately with any potential owners
