Regretful Sale
Due to a change in personal circumstances, I have made the very difficult decision to find a new home for my beautiful Friesian mare.
• 10 years old (11 in September)
• 15.1hh
• Purebred Friesian mare
• Unregistered, however both parents were FHS registered:
• Sire: Azriel FS
• Dam: Diedrieka S
Raven has previously had groundwork education and was lightly started under saddle. She was ridden bitless and in a halter and had begun her introduction to a bit. She showed a willing attitude and was progressing well before life circumstances meant her training was placed on hold.
As she has been out of work for a couple of years, she is being offered as a project horse and will require an experienced and knowledgeable home to continue her education and bring her back into work.
Historically, she self-loaded onto a float and travelled well, although she has not travelled recently and may require some refresher training. Her feet, dental care and worming are all current.
Raven is a kind, affectionate mare who enjoys human interaction, neck scratches and the occasional carrot. She has been a much-loved horse and finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale.
She is currently paddock sound and lives happily in a herd environment. She is easy to catch, lead and handle for routine care, making her a lovely horse to have around.
Raven would suit someone looking for a quality Friesian mare to develop and enjoy, with the time, experience and patience to help her reach her potential.
